The First Bluetooth Enabled Vacuum to Use Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) Elevates the Level of Cleanliness and Convenience
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Oct. 24, 2022 – Durable Appliances Corp (DAC), the leader in the industrial cleaning market, today announced the ElectroZoom XL (EZXL), the first vacuum to use UVGI technology and be Bluetooth enabled. The lightweight EZXL provides consumers with an easy and efficient clean in their own homes.
The ElectroZoom XL uses a hypoallergenic cleaning system called GermStat which pulls in dust, pollen, pet hair, and other irritants. GermStat helps to prevent and alleviate allergic reactions and conditions such as asthma, rhinitis, hay fever, and eczema.
The Bluetooth enabled capabilities allow users toconnect to their EZXL via the vacuum’s iPhone/Androidapp. Through the app, users can check bag status, battery charging, maintenance cycles, and order replacement bags. The ElectroZoom XL also includes a Bluetooth speaker with volume adjustment so users can listen to audio, such as music or podcasts, while they vacuum.

Cleanliness, Convenience, and Adaptability with Every Use
The ElectroZoom XL offers consumers a state-of-the-art clean with a variety of features that build upon the vacuum’s cleaning level, ease of use, and adaptability. Some of these features include:
Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) – The EZXL is the first to use UVGI light— killing 90+% of pathogens such as bacteria, mold, and viruses.
Cordless Cleaning Mode – The EZXL’s cordless mode allows for unlimited distance while cleaning. The vacuum can function on a full charge without being plugged in for 30 minutes on high-power and up to an hour on low-power.
Speed Control with LED Display – The EZXL offers a three-level speed adjustment that can be seen on the LED display, reducing the suction of certain things by mistake—a common occurrence when vacuums function at only one speed.

The ElectroZoom XL is available for $675 (MSRP) from leading retailers Walmart and Home Depot and the company’s own retail site www.durableapp.com/ezxl. Additional attachments, such as a dusting brush, turbo brush, extension wand, and crevice tools can be purchased at any of the available retailers at an extra cost. A complimentary 24-month warranty covers parts and labor.
